Dom Hotel - Augsburg

The mini fridge was refilled daily with complimentary drinks. The kitchen noise was a bit looud during breakfast.

Good general comfort. Pool very welcome during hot weather. Nice spread (with some unusual extras - e.g sparkling wine) at breakfast, with opportunity to eat in garden. Very convenient for city without being in the middle of it all. Free wireless internet.

Minor points only: Found with a little difficulty - coming in from the north (i.e. motorway) the hotel sign is hidden by the one for the shop next door. It would be better to know the entrance is actually on Mittlerer Pfaffengaesschen, which is a left turn off Frauentorstrasse. Small step up (2cm) between bedroom and bathroom, ready to catch a bare toe!

The breakfast is nice. The hotel is in a beautiful position. The internal pool is a nice surprise. Bring your swimwear along though!

I had set the wake up call at 10 but the maid knocked on my door at 9 and woke me up.. very annoying. One of the towels provided had a spot so I discarded it

3rd floor rooms are big and nice.

The room had a fantastic view over the cathedral, but the shower was slippery.

The stay was a pleasure, especially with the room’s little balcony and great view of the garden. It was nice to wind down in the pool after a long day of walking around the nearby Rathausplatz and exploring other attractions like the Augsburg Town Hall and the Perlach Tower. Breakfast was a fantastic spread with plenty of options, which fueled us for our adventures. A good experience!

make sure you stay in the single room with great breakfast. the hotel staff is superfriendly and pleasant.

The hotel was centrally located in Augsburg. It was also on a quiet street and didn't feel loud or busy. The breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were modern, but felt a bit spartan. It was convenient to have parking right there too.

Had a superior double room. Comfortable bed, large TV, minibar, and a private bathroom. The view of the Cathedral was fantastic! Enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast buffet was substantial with delicious pastries. Super clean and quiet too! Perfect location near the historical center and parking was easy.

This hotel is absolutely superb. Comparing to the price, this hotel serves almost everything they can do. I had stayed in 7 different hotels along romantic road trip course, I am sure that this hotel is the best.

We had a fantastic large room with huge exposed beams. We were impressed with the way the hotel was run with everything operating seamlessly in the background. Very clean very neat. It is close to the centre of town but away from any noise from traffic. Breakfast (included in our stay) was great and you could have this in the garden if you wished. Great family run hotel.
